Whats new in iOS 10 beta 8

Apple released the iOS 10 beta 8 just right after the iOS 9.3.5 which is completely an upright fix all of the security issues and other things. iOS 10 beta is moving forward to it's final release. Which is - This Fall'16 along with the new iPhone 7 release.

What's New in iOS 10 beta 8

This is very unlikely and suprising that, there no almost close to no changes in iOS 10 beta 8 from the beta 7. The beta 8 itself is only 23 beta bites. I still have not found any big or such changes in the latest beta.

Apple kept on releasing the iOS 10 beta's really fast unlike the beta release history. Not sure why but it's getting really fast with the iOS 10 beta's. It never happened before. Anyways it's a good thing that we are getting close to the gold master edition of iOS 10 which is the full version of iOS 10 before it's public final release. If you want to use any iOS 10 beta or the Gold Master (GM) edition on your iPhone / iPad then you can register your iPhone UDID to Apple Developer Account here for only $15 and install the iOS 10 beta early.

iOS 10 is the best thing ever happen to an iPhone. It has so many great changes which gives your iPhone a new life. Specially the newer models of iPhone,iPads are blazingly fast. The fast animations are awesome, new looks, super fast, there is no need to press your lock button anymore, Raise to Unlock release is finally there in iPhone, Then mac auto unlock with Apple watch, universal copy is just great. If you have not updated to iOS 10 beta yet, then update now.

I have search the new, explored the new beta 8 myself for a long time but didn't find any new such changes in the iOS 10. I don't know yet what's new in the beta 8.  Apple Music has a new look as does Apple’s News app in iOS 10. It has a wide range of bug fixes including the security patches. Stay tuned for more information.

Apple again rumored to kill iPhone home button in 2017

Apple is again rumored to be on track to remove the iconic physical home button from its flagship mobile product, the iPhone, when a next-generation version of the device launches next year.

Mentioned as part of Bloomberg's report on Apple's supposed decision to include FeliCa tap-to-pay support in an upcoming iPhone, the home button-less smartphone is thought to see release next year as part of a dramatic redesign.

The report jibes with information from AppleInsider's own sources, who two years ago said removing the home button from iPhone is a longterm goal for Apple that could happen as soon as 2017.

Apple has released the iOS 10 beta 8 and watchOS 3 beta 8 now. If you are eager to install the iOS 10 beta right now then enroll your iPhone/iPad to Apple Developer Account here > then you can install the iOS 10 beta early the developer preview version on your iPhone,iPad,iPod and you can also register your mac to Apple Developer Account here > to install the macOS Sierra beta today.

Rumors that Apple was on the verge of removing the home button from its mobile lineup date back to at least 2011. It was plausible that the component could be replaced by a software analog — which would free up precious space for a larger display — until the company introduced Touch ID in 2013. Touch ID is completely integrated into Apple's home button design, from the steel actuator ring to the fingerprint sensor seated beneath a sapphire glass cover.

More recently, reports claim this year's iPhone refresh will feature a solid-state pressure-sensitive "Force Touch ID" module. While not a complete button replacement, utilization of such a component would be a step toward realizing that goal.

Apple is unlikely to ditch Touch ID — or the functionality of a home button — meaning the company must somehow integrate the technology directly into iPhone's display. Rumblings from the Far East last year indicated that Apple was in the midst of developing touch and display driver single-chip solutions that would allow for a fingerprint sensor to be embedded in the handset's display.

Apple normally redesigns iPhone every two year, though this year's release is not expected to follow tradition. Instead, the so-called "iPhone 7" is rumored to look largely similar to current iPhone 6-series handsets, with upgraded internals like an upgraded camera — dual camera system for the 5.5-inch model — headlining the list of improvements.

The 2017 model, however, is said to bring a completely revamped design with dual curved glass panels and an OLED display. Explaining the off-year cycle, a New York Times report claimed Apple was waiting on certain advanced technology to mature before committing to a redesign. It could be that a screen-integrated virtual home button was one of the systems holding up development.

Apple CEO Tim Cook talks ahead of iPhone 7 launch about advice, AI/AR, and the future of Apple

The Washington Post this weekend published a very in-depth video/interview with Apple CEO Tim Cook just weeks before Apple is set to unveil its biggest product of the year by far, the iPhone 7. In it, Cook talks about the incredibly important people outside of Apple he turns to for advice at pivotal moments, including Warren Buffett on returning cash to stockholders, Anderson Cooper on coming out, and folks like Bill Clinton and Laurene Powell Jobs on testifying before congress.

Tim talks about the Future of Apple such as its Artificial Intelligence and and Augmented/Virtual Reality ambitions >

He's a very good CEO. Cook noted some mistakes. He again acknowledged the disaster that was Apple Maps. On his first big hire John Browett, who ran the Apple Store for a short amount of time:

He spoke in candid terms about the mistakes he’s made on the way, such as his first hire to run Apple’s retail stores (“that was clearly a screw-up”) Although the iPhone growth has stalled, Apple’s services business is huge as follows-

Apple businesses includes things like iTunes, iCloud and a mobile payments service is projected to be the size of a Fortune 100 business next year — all on its own.

Apple has released the iOS 10 beta and watchOS 3 beta. Now if you are eager to install the iOS 10 beta right now then enroll your iPhone/iPad to Apple Developer Account here > then you can install the iOS 10 beta early the developer preview version on your iPhone,iPad,iPod and you can also register your mac to Apple Developer Account here > to install the macOS Sierra beta today.

Tim on 'What has changed at Apple'?

The obvious things are we have more employees in the company. The company is four times larger [by revenue since 2010]. We’ve broadened the iPhone lineup. That was a really key decision, and I think a good one. We’ve gone into the Apple Watch business, which has gotten us into wellness and in health. We keep pulling that string to see where that takes us. Lots of core technology work has been done.

Tim On slowing iPhones:

This is actually a privilege, not a problem. Think about this: What other products do you know where the ratio of people to the product, for a consumer electronics product, will be one-to-one over the long haul? I don’t think there is another one.

This is interesting thinking. I wonder what Apple is doing to address the other 6B people who don’t yet own a smartphone.

Tim On replacing Steve Jobs:

To me, Steve’s not replaceable. By anyone. [Voice softens] He was an original of a species. I never viewed that was my role. I think it would have been a treacherous thing if I would have tried to do it. When I first took the job as CEO, I actually thought that Steve would be here for a long time. Because he was going to be chairman, work a bit less after he came back up the health curve. So I went into it with one thought, and then weeks later — six weeks later, whatever —It was very quickly. [The day he died] was sort of the worst day ever. I just — I had really convinced myself. I know this sounds probably bizarre at this point, but I had convinced myself that he would bounce, because he always did.

What's Next coming out:

I was thinking about kids. I was getting notes from kids who knew I was gay, or assumed I was, because of something they had read on the Web. And they were kids who were distraught. Some had been pushed out by their families. They thought they couldn’t achieve anything. They couldn’t do anything. They were seeing the national discourse around it and feeling isolated and depressed. And I just thought — I’ve got to do something.

Tim On testifying before congress in 2013:

For the hearing [before the U.S. Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations about Apple’s tax practices in 2013], I’ve never testified in front of Congress before. So I called up [Goldman Sachs CEO] Lloyd Blankfein, because I looked back to say who’s done this before? I knew Lloyd and thought he’d be honest with me. I called up President Clinton. He knows a lot about the politics. I’d not met him through a political connection. I’d met him through the foundation. I went to Laurene, Steve’s wife. Laurene has the lens of knowing me and deeply understanding Apple.

Tim Cook deflected questions about upcoming products like Apple Car but interestingly he yet again mentioned AR:

I think AR [augmented reality] is extremely interesting and sort of a core technology. So, yes, it’s something we’re doing a lot of things on behind that curtain that we talked about. [Laughs.]

The whole interview is certainly worth a read if you want to know where Apple is ahead of its September iPhone launch event.

Apple insider talks Apple Watch development: engineering versus design; innovation; secrecy

Bob Messerschmidt is in a good position to talk about the development of the Apple Watch. It was his heart-rate sensor startup that Apple bought for use in the Watch, and the company then hired him from 2010 to 2013 to work on the project. An interview with Messerschmidt by FastCo provides a fascinating glimpse into the world of developing a new Apple product.

Of particular interest is the tension between the engineering and design teams, engineers putting forward the best approach from a technical perspective, designers pushing back where that approach conflicts with their knowledge of trends, fashion and user behaviour …

One great example is [when] I went to a meeting and said I’m going to put sensors in the watch but I’m going to put them down here (he points to the underside of the Apple Watch band he’s wearing) because I can get a more accurate reading on the bottom of the wrist than I can get on the top of the wrist. They (the Industrial Design group) said very quickly that “that’s not the design trend; that’s not the fashion trend. We want to have interchangeable bands so we don’t want to have any sensors in the band.”

Then at the next meeting I would go “we can do it here (on top of the wrist) but it’s going to have to be kind of a tight band because we want really good contact between the sensors and the skin.” The answer from the design studio would be “No, that’s not how people wear watches; they wear them like really floppy on their wrist.”

You might expect engineers to find this a frustrating experience, but Messerschmidt says not. He said that you had to respect input on real-life issues, and treat the constraints as a challenge.

That creates a set of requirements that drives you toward new engineering solutions […] Engineers left in a vacuum might say “well, that’s maybe not so important; we can get a better signal by doing it the other way so let’s do it that way.” So, left to their own devices, that would be the way the product would end up. So you have to have a really strong voice supporting the user. I think the idea of focusing on that is uniquely Apple.

I’ve long argued that debate about innovation at Apple largely misses the point: Apple has rarely been first to any new technology. Its USP is its ability to watch what other companies do, then figure out a way to do it better. In particular, Apple has never been afraid to wait until a piece of tech is sufficiently mature to deliver a great user experience. Apple did that with the iPhone, said Messerschmidt, and it’s doing it now with VR.

If you look at products like the iPhone or the iPad there aren’t too many totally new technologies included in those products. The real elegance and differentiation doesn’t have a lot to do with the technology idea itself; it’s about the packaging and the value add it gives to people. Those big (new technology) ideas generally happen elsewhere, and they happen earlier.

Virtual reality is a good example. Why hasn’t Apple jumped into VR? It’s because nobody really knows whether there’s really a “there” there. I don’t. Apple’s interested in products where everybody’s going to get some benefit out of it.

Messerschmidt is not, however, uncritical of Apple. The company’s famously secretive approach, for example, has been abused by some.

There is really a contingent at Apple that has resorted to the tools of secrecy. Steve Jobs wanted secrecy for very specific reasons. He wanted to be able to make the big splash at the product announcement. And that’s almost as far as it went. There’s definitely a contingent at Apple that wants secrecy because it helps them maintain an empire, in a sense. It helps them create a sense that they’re doing more important things that they really are.

He also ends on a rather disappointing note.

You may remember that right after he died there was all this stuff about “can Apple go on?” Could anybody have the capacity to do that job (Jobs’s)? All I can say at this point is that the jury is still out, but so far I think the signs are kind of pointing to “No.” It’s definitely not the same place.

Apple CEO Tim Cook says AI & augmented reality are core technologies in Apple's future

Apple is deeply invested in artificial intelligence and augmented reality when it comes to future products, CEO Tim Cook acknowledged in a recent interview.

"Look at the core technologies that make up the smartphone today and look at the ones that will be dominant in smartphones of the future — like AI," Cook told the Washington Post, which raised the issue of Apple's prospects given its financial dependence on the iPhone in a slowing smartphone market. "AI will make this product even more essential to you," he asserted.

"It will become even a better assistant than it is today. So where you probably aren't leaving home without it today — you're really going to be connected to it in the future. That level of performance is going to skyrocket."

Apple has released the iOS 10 beta and if you are interested to install iOS 10 beta right now then add your iPhone,iPad,iPod UDID to Apple Developer Account here and enjoy all iOS 10 beta versions for next 1 year.

Apple is stepping towards that goal with gradual improvements in Siri, such as third-party developer support. Tim Cook in fact described it as "broadening Siri in a huge way" to the Post, although the AI assistant's chief rivals — Amazon Alexa and Google — already have similar third-party app hooks.

The CEO also reiterated a recent statement that the company is spending a lot of money on augmented reality, without going into detail about whether the company is only pursuing AR software, or aiming for dedicated hardware like Google Glass, Magic Leap, or Microsoft's HoloLens. To date no AR headset has seen a major commercial release — even Glass has yet to make it past an expensive developer-oriented model.

"I think AR is extremely interesting and sort of a core technology. So, yes, it's something we're doing a lot of things on behind that curtain that we talked about," he said.

Apple TV, iPhone, iPad will let you stream channel, Apple is working on universal TV guide

Now Apple is focusing on their Apple TV services. Despite of having no jailbreak on latest Apple TV, now the new features will diminish the need of jailbreak and users can get the maximum out of their Apple TV. While Apple’s effort to create a digital TV service seems to have stalled, the company is still chasing a better way to find and watch content on Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad. Recode reports that Apple is currently talking to “TV programmers and other video companies” over a potential universal guide that could show what TV shows and movies are available from streaming video channels.

Apple has already released iOS 10 beta, macOS Sierra beta, tvOS 10 beta and watchOS 3 beta's. If you are interested update devices to the letest developers preivew versions, then you need to be a part of Apple Developer Program to install install them. But now you can register your devices UDID to Apple Developer Program from here for only $15. Intersted, then go here > to register your devices to Apple Developer Account now and enjoy all the latest features of iOS 10, tvOS 10, watchOS 3.

The report highlights HBO, Netflix and ESPN as likely candidates. Apple already partners with these channels and more to create a universal search feature on tvOS, but the proposed universal guide could provide a visual component that offers a more robust version of TV guides from cable boxes.

Apple’s vision is that you could subscribe to multiple video services then see everything available to watch across various channels in a single visual interface. Recode notes that the effort comes out of Apple’s stalled efforts to create streaming video service of its own.
The idea is to let users see what kind of programming is available in video apps made by the likes of HBO, Netflix and ESPN, without having to open up each app individually, and to play shows and movies with a single click.
That is: Apple’s guide would tell you what’s on TV. Except now TV is apps.
Industry sources say Apple’s plans are an outgrowth of the TV service it wanted to launch last year. The difference is that in 2015, Apple wanted to sell TV programming directly to consumers >and provide them with a new interface that would make it easy to find the stuff they paid for.Apple is already making improvements to the Apple TV and iPad as a cable box and traditional TV replacement with iOS 10 and tvOS 10 due out this fall. Single sign-on will let iPad and Apple TV users sign-in once to authenticate cable subscriptions then access content across multiple streaming channels without logging in to each app.
Apple has also continued to add new partners to its universal search feature, although that’s only available on tvOS while today’s report could apply to both tvOS and iOS.

Upcoming Apple Watch 2nd gen will feature new, thinner 'One Glass Solution' touchscreen

Apple suppliers are said to be gearing up for the upcoming launch of the second-generation Apple Watch, which will allegedly conserve space with new, thinner technology behind its touchscreen OLED display.

in comments apparently made by Apple supplier TPK Holding, it was revealed that the new Apple Watch will adopt "One Glass Solution" technology, according to DigiTimes. Rather than citing its usual unnamed supply chain sources, the Taiwanese publication credited the information to TPK itself.

TPK indicated that production of the new "OGS" touch panels led to unexpected technical issues. As a result, yield rates for the new Apple Watch's touchscreen were lower than anticipated.

Touchscreens typically feature a capacitive stack of materials, including two pieces of glass, which can also be known as a "glass on glass" solution. Glass on glass is used in the OLED touchscreen on the first-generation Apple Watch.

The new Apple watch will have watchOS 3. Apple has already released the iOS 10 beta 3, WatchOS 3 beta 3 and next beta will be launched very very soon. iOS 10 is just mind blowing and the best and faster iOS ever. I was so blown away with all of its features. Its really feel like a new iPhone. WatchOS 3 and iOS 10 are just massive updates. You will feel like it's a new iPhone once you update to the iOS 10. Apple has already released the iOS 10 beta, WatchOS 3 and macOS Sierra on this 13th June 2016 to the developers. In order you update to iOS 10 right now you will have to register your iPhone/iPad to an Apple Developer Account. You can register your iPhone/iPad UDID to Apple Developer Account here > Then update to iOS 10 right now and get all the new iOS 10.x.x beta updates early for next 1 year.

Have you updated your iPhone to iOS 10 and Apple Watch to WatchOS 3 yet ? If not then update to iOS 10 beta / WatchOS 3 right now. As it's released for developers only now but you can also get the new iOS 10 right now by just registering your iPhone to an Apple Developer Account. You can register your iPhone in our Apple Developer Account for just only $15. Click here to register your iPhone/iPad/Apple Watch udid to Apple Developer Account and enjoy the iOS 10 update.

Little is known about Apple's upcoming wearable update, though one rumor from over a year ago suggested the second-generation model will look exactly the same on the exterior. If that's the case, the new "OGS" touchscreen would allow for more space inside of the device, potentially accommodating a larger battery.

Partners in Apple's supply chain are said to be gearing up for a fall launch for the so-called "Apple Watch 2." The original model became available in April of 2015. Other rumored features for the next Apple Watch include a better screen for outdoor visibility, as well as the possibility of integrated GPS and LTE cellular data.

How-To: Jailbreak iPhone iPad on iOS 9.3.3 with the English version of Pangu

Pangu has released an English version of its jailbreak for iOS 9.2 - iOS 9.3.3 which uses Cydia Impactor to sideload an IPA onto your device.

Cydia Impactor runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux and lets you use your Apple ID to sideload the app used to jailbreak on to your device.

Unfortunately, if you don't have a developer account, the app needs to be resigned every seven days. If you do have a developer account the app will be signed for one year.

Pangu says:
The certificate will expire in 7 days. If your certificate gets expired, you need to follow the guide to install the jailbreak IPA again. If you have enrolled the Apple developer membership, signing the IPA file with your own developer certification is a better choice (i.e., Pangu jailbreak app will get expired in 1 year, rather than 7 days).
We'll be posting detailed instructions on how to jailbreak using this method shortly. However, if you don't have a developer account using the Chinese PP app to jailbreak may be better choice.

How to Jailbreak iPhone,iPad on iOS 9.2-9.3.3 using Pangu (English Version)

Step 1: Download the Pangu app (NvwaStone_1.0.ipa) from pangu.io

Step 2: Download the version of Cydia Impactor that works with your desktop operating system.

Step 3: Connect you iPhone to your computer.

Step 4: Run the Cydia Impactor tool, ensure that it sees your iOS device, and drop the Pangu.ipa (NvwaStone_1.0.ipa) file on the Cydia Impactor tool.

Step 5: Click the OK button on the Apple Developer Warning box that appears.

Step 6: When requested, enter your Apple ID email address and password. If this is a regular non-developer Apple ID, then the Pangu app will be available to run for a maximum of 7 days. Paid Apple developers have access to the app for a full year.

Step 7: The Pangu app will now appear on your iOS device, but you’ll need to go to Settings → General → Device Management, tap the Developer App email address associated with your Apple ID, and tap Trust twice to enable the app to run.

Step 8: Go back to the Home screen, launch the Pangu app on your iOS device, and tap OK when it asks for access to Notifications.

Step 9: Tap Start on the Pangu app and lock your device when prompted. You should receive a notification, followed by a respring.

Step 10: Once the respring is completed, unlock your device, and you will see Cydia on your Home screen.

Since this is a semi-tethered jailbreak, you’ll have to run the Pangu app again on your device to re-enable the jailbreak after every reboot.

Well, i don't feel the need of Jailbreaking my everyday device anymore after updating to iOS 10 beta, it fulfills all my need. iOS 10 is just great and smooth. If you are interested to update into iOS 10 beta then you can register your iphone/ipad to Apple Developer Account here > for $15 and get acesss to install iOS 10 beta on you iPhone for next 1 year. So register now and enjoy ios 10 if you want.

iPhone to have Eye scanning capabilities in 2018

iPhone is having great great changes as it evolves. Touch ID brought major changes to how people unlock their iPhones, but it doesn’t appear as if
Apple is stopping there. We initially reported that Apple was developing an eye scanning technology back in 2014, but a new report today says the capability could be launching to the public as soon as 2018.

According to a report from DigiTimes, Apple is set to release an iPhone with iris scanning capabilities in 2018. The report cites unnamed sources and notes of the effects iris scanning capabilities will have on the broader smartphone market. It’s likely that Samsung will beat Apple to the market with its eye recognition technology, though, perhaps launching the capability as soon as next month with the Galaxy Note 7.
Samsung is expected to lead all vendors by releasing its new flagship smartphone supporting iris recognition technology in the second half of 2016, while Apple is likely to roll out new iPhone devices with iris sensors in 2018, the sources indicated.
Iris scanning works by recognizing the user’s iris, which is “a flat, colored, ring-shaped membrane behind the cornea of the eye.” Much like a fingerprint, every person’s iris is totally unique, making it a secure way to unlock a smartphone.

Apple has also released the iOS 10 beta, watchOS 3 beta along with the tvOS 10 beta.

There are issues with iris scanning technology, however, including performance in low-light conditions. The iris can also be affected by user actions, such as consuming alcohol or eye dilation. Though, in the right conditions, iris scanning offers a way for user’s to unlock their phone without any physical contact, which could be useful in a variety of situations.

As usual, it should be noted that this rumor comes out of DigiTimes, which has a sketchy track record. When dealing with something that’s still over two years away, it’s also worth pointing out that timetables are very much susceptible to change. KGI’s Ming-Chi Kuo, who is considerably more reliable than DigiTimes, also reported on Apple’s eye recognition plans earlier this year. Kuo, however, mentioned the capability in referring to the 2017 iPhone, which again could be an instance of Apple changing the timetable.

Nevertheless, it’s a very real possibility that a future iPhone will bring support for eye recognition. In addition to applying this feature to unlocking the device, Apple will likely also make it available for Apple Pay transactions and any other instance in which you would today use Touch ID or enter a password.

Would you be interested in iris scanning support? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Apple improves the animated GIFs experience on iPhone and iPad in iOS 10

iOS 10 includes a lot of new flagship features, from iMessage apps to a Siri SDK, as well as a lot of small tweaks and enhancements. The WebKit blog is highlighting one of these small feature changes, which makes watching animated GIFs on the web way better with iOS 10.

Apple has released the iOS 10 beta for developers, if you want to install the iOS 10 beta on your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch then you have to register your device to an Apple Developer Account. If you interested to use iOS 10 beta now then can register your iPhone udid to Apple Developer Account here >

A lot of GIFs today are actually encoded as videos as GIF itself is a very bad format for animated content despite its popularity. However, Apple has imposed many restrictions on how videos behave in iPhone Safari such as requiring user interaction for playback to start until now. Up until iOS 9, many websites displayed GIFs as <video> elements but were held back by the limitations Apple enforced. With iOS 10, silent videos can now autoplay in the page, perfect for animated GIFs …

Rather than requiring a play button and an explicit tap, GIF websites will be able to display animated GIFs just like any normal image (even though the underlying node is actually a <video> element) on the iPhone and iPad with iOS 10. Apple is relaxing some policies just for videos that have no sound (or are muted).

This prevents things like spammy autoplay videos from interrupting your browsing but allows for things like animated GIFs to provide a much better user experience.

Specifically, iOS 10 will now respect the autoplay attribute of the <video> element when source video tracks have no audio or have been muted. If a video gains an audio track without user interaction, the video will pause. Playback begins when the content is visible on screen and is automatically paused when scrolled off the viewport, for performance reasons.

All videos can also be played back inline on iPhone and iPad, another change for iOS 10. Outside of the browser, GIFs are an integral part of the iOS 10 Messages app too with a new ‘#images’ iMessage app included by default in the operating system. Users can search for animated GIFs to send into their conversations and the app will even suggest relevant images based on the current messages in the thread. iMessage stickers can also be animated so expect a lot of ‘animated GIF’-esque stickers from various developers once the iMessage App Store goes live.

iOS 10 is expected to launch to the public in September; developers are currently running the third beta seed. iOS 10 will ship on the new iPhone 7 as standard; both the new hardware and software will be publicly launched at a media event in September.
